It's still here. Congress cannot make a law to limit what you say. You're free to say whatever you want. Doesn't mean you're protected from the consequences of what you said. Doesn't mean your employer can't establish rules of conduct and chastise you for breaking them.

Wikipedia is well vetted and has legit sources. However, Wikipedia is not their own source and they cite all of their own sources. So citing wikipedia is as good as citing Joe Smith who wrote a paper and cited his sources (or plagiarized for all we know).

I just think the double standards in freedom of speech is bullshit. Just depends what side your standing on, if it's allowed or not.

A few additions to make me feel cool.
The issue is when you plaster BLM down the side of a race car it pretty much throws that rule out the window. LOL... Back to jail for me I suppose.

But when you put the current President on the side of a car, the cameras or commentary doesn't say a word about it. What happened to respecting the President, even if you don't like/approve of them. Too many cry babies in this world.

Don't know (my guess would be a Hendrick car, like the 88, with Bowman going to the 48), but as a long-time (40+ yrs) Petty fan, I'm glad Bubba is moving on.

I've supported Bubba for years, and was glad when he started driving for RPM. When he's doing good stuff, it's great. Tossing football with the fans, loved the Compassion / Love / Understanding logo, etc.

But the negatives have made me so embarrassed for Petty... mocking the religious faith of another driver, calling the fans stupid... but the biggest was putting the name of a hate group on the side of the iconic #43, when our nation is suffering from riots and violence and killings driven by that hate group in many cities (particularly in vulnerable black communities). The "looks like a noose" door pull was embarrassing for Petty too, but that's not on Bubba (NASCAR jumped the gun).

Money drives the sport, and with businesses pandering so hard now, the sponsors have been warming to Bubba. I can't blame Bubba for taking the money and using it to find a better performing ride - I don't wish him ill. But I personally put a higher priority on integrity and reputation, and hopefully with the drama leaving RPM, Petty can restore some of his reputation for the years he has remaining in spite of the funding crisis RPM will face next year.

What is it called when you hire some one due to there heritage and not skills? What happened to the person who was hired due to their sex?

this thread is the just about all the attention any professional sports are getting from me. I have been changing the channel when sports highlights or even commercials come on.

I'll watch tonight, definitely. Being a native Virginian, Richmond is my "home track" I guess. (Well, other than Langley Speedway in Hampton.)

Richmond is the only track where I've been to Cup races, the old half-mile track and the new 3/4-mile track.

Posted this on r/nascar , cited my source this time (my garage) and the same mod took it down. So here, enjoy this 96 Wood Brothers Michael Waltrip hood. Not my favorite driver, not my favorite scheme, not my favorite era, but certainly one of my favorite teams.

Richmond has become one of the most boring tracks they run. Its slogan is the action track. That's bullshit.

The most exciting thing was when Keselowski almost touched Logano .

I did enjoy the race but it is different .

It's weird... lots of guys sliding loose, good restarts, different strategies, tire wear matters...

But the lack of cautions was strange.

Outside of the battle for the lead, it wasn't super great from what I saw. 6 lead lap cars...

Yes, and as a Kyle Busch fan, I love Bristol. So if I'm saying that...
