Got my '96 Z3 out today and went for a ride with Lynn. Every time I get behind the wheel of this thing it's like the first time again. What a great car it is to drive.

Jeez, what a weekend. :rofl:Yardwork, painting, reworking windows, etc. And now it appears my garage is now a storage unit? My cousin/aunt has (err had) a storage unit that they no longer want to pay for so guess where all the stuff came to? Yup, my house and my grandmothers (which is next door). The plus side is the bulky stuff that we put in my garage is mine to sell or keep. Most of the stuff was my late grandfathers woodworking stuff. Grizzly table saw, 14" band saw, and scroll saw. Some reason I got an electric dryer as well as an old work bench. So anybody wants a big ass 220v table saw I'll make you a helluva deal :D I'd love to keep it, but my woodworking is light duty and I have a portable Hitachi that does the job just fine. Also got a pretty cool and somewhat expensive bike.

(Excuse the mess on the work bench, I got a bunch of projects going on at the same time)

So it looks like I'm going to get into mountain biking, thing's in too good of shape. Needs tubes in the tires obviously and a once over, but that's it. I did about bust my ass trying to ride a bike after 16 years, but that might have been the alcohol

Anybody have an idea what would cause this? On my way to GMF in the am. The diff lock light is what concerns me. All lights just popped on while driving interstate. TIA

those lights all come on expected when the diff is engaged. Your detent switch might be bad on the locker. Unplug from the sensor on the rear axle and see if the lights clear.

I work from home, hours are hero or zero, mostly zero though . Used to work a 10 week rotating 12 hour schedule though, talk about not knowing what day it was or even month for that matter. In the winter time I’ve woken up around 1800 and had no idea If it was day or night (my alarm clock doesn’t do 24hr clock). I don’t miss those days one bit. The extended time off between schedules was about the only nice thing.

money was nice, and getting shift differential when I was on nights. But by the time you worked overtime and payed the government all those taxes, I had no time to spend the money and didn’t know where a year of my life went, a change was required. I’ll take the cushy schedule, better for the body and the mind, which you can’t replace. Money doesn’t buy happiness.
