Yes, a SAS pushes the axle forward more. So does the RCLT and the JD kit. Reason for this is better approach angle and gets the firewall out of the way. The front modifications I’m fine with.

The rear we plan to three link with trailing arms. Coilovers through the rear fender wells. Bed cage across the back to tie it all together and box the rear frame section.

Chevy full sizes are lucky to get 37s without trimming with 8" of lift

Yup. Chevy and their tiny little fender openings.

They aren't small it's more the shape just like the Tacoma which is what people are trying to explain. But you seem a bit defensive about what guys are telling you with actual real world experience with using all the suspension travel.

I want your input on some things I've got going on with my truck and some ideas I got I'll post in a different thread. My poor rad support is on life support.

Level with 35’s - not sure a DB lift is necessary with 37’s. Most full size prerunners run 37-39’s and they’re only on a few inches of lift.

probably a good idea, but I’m not asking the crazy enough question.

I’m asking if anyone has used the JD kit with 37’s. That’s all, nothing more.
Doesn’t seem that anyone has even though their site says optimal tire size 33-37 if I remember reading it correct.

    Just call or post here:

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/fitting-35’s-with-minimal-trimming-now-adding-long-travel-and-934-cv’s.626274/

as far as approach angle goes - that’s not what limits pickups - if steep inclined are your interest you’ll be bobbing the bed too.

    Too many to remember
If you want the suspension to be able to cycle full bump, lock to lock you will have to trim on anything bigger than 33’s. The JD kit pushes the wheel forward 7/8” and if you run the LCA pivot kit you can go a full 1 7/8”. There is no such kit that allows the use of 37’s without a lot of trimming unless you drastically limit the up travel which is just plain stupid.

below is a pic of a 37 on the JD kit. Yes it clears the cab mount but in order to get all the uptravel the inner fenders will need to get tub’d
