Ran a good trail and then got talked into running another which was my buddy's favorite trail and where we had spread his ashes. I thought I was OK with it til we got to the bottom and started airing up. I miss my buddy

Those under monitor power stations were the shit! And, back when Fry's was still good. I miss it.

Those palmtops wee something too. I miss my old palm treo, they were more focused than a smartphone.

Getting older sucks. Everyone we meet goes away one way, or another. :(

My uncle passed away of pancreatic cancer today. Its been unavoidable for a while, so I'm actually not beat up about it. It feels weird. On the other hand, I'm up later than usual, and definitely not sober...

I think some of the early distributed file processing across multiple nodes went on to become the hairstyle known as Hadoop.

Do you want me to call an ambulance? It appears you've had either a stroke, or an epileptic seizure.

I still have my Thinkpad T43. Only 15 years old, but I wrote so much code and so many lab reports that the keys are worn shiny. What a machine.

Also, at least its not Windows ME!

The big beige machine in the picture replace my Toshiba 430CDS, Sadly it died recently from drive failure. I still use these for programming old radios with some old dos gaming on the side.:D
