Washed it and replaced the carrier bearing. The last one I put on there that I got for cheap from RockAuto lasted pretty long, so I just threw the same cheapo on there. Don't flame me for not going with OEM lol

Appreciate it! I used Rustoleum Sunrise red, and Raptor liner on the hood and bumpers.

yea. This one's a bit different than the one I got before, but its the same brand and everything so we'll see how long it lasts.
Last one got me like 25k mi or so I think.

Spent the money I saved on an OEM trans mount that should help too

but did you clear coat it when you where finished. I'm just amazed at how it turned out at least in the photos. I'm going to assume it looks good in person also.

since I have no welding skills at all, I'd say you did okay. Did you put the reinforcements on the frame for extra strength or from rust damage.

I used to haunt Galveston beach quite a bit back in the 70's. If we really wanted to drive, we'd go down to Corpus Christi. I graduated from high school in Edna way back in time. People here in N.C. are shocked when I tell them we drove on the beach in Texas.

Both. The sides of the frame were getting thin in places from rust. Other places it was plenty thick, so just reinforcement.

I was lucky enough to visit there back in the early 80's before the big fire out there. Man between Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons, Jackson Hole, really enjoyed myself, and wish I'd have gone back again later in life.

Yeah it was a great trip. Did lots of hiking, seen tons of wild life and got away of Smokey hot California for 10 days.

Got them eBay special control arms on. Made the truck ride a lot nicer. Hopefully they don’t break. LolC19DF268-C8FD-4054-860F-368001467B89.jpg
