EDIT : White connector is for power mirrors Black connector is for the 110v inverter
2prong connector under hood is for keyless entry unlock/lock beep or buzz

I have a 2009 Tacoma base model with 2wd and I’m looking into adding fog lights. Couldn’t find much on here or google. I popped out all of the blanks on the left side of the dash and all are empty besides 2 that have wiring harnesses attached to the blanks. Does anybody know what these are for ?? I’ve attached pictures below. Also under the hood there looks to be some type of 2 pin connector under the hood coming out of the wire loom that goes to the headlights, is this for adding fogs ? TIA for any replies and guidance.

First 2 pictures are the same plug and located behind the lower section of the 3 buttons
Pictures 3&4 are are the same plug but located on the upper section of the 3 blanks closest to the vent
Pictures 4&5 are located under the hood closest to the driver side headlights coming out of the wire look for the headlights
Will update with answers if I find out what these are for

The black connector is for a 110V inverter. Not sure what the white connector is, but it’s not for fog lights.

If your truck is prewired for fogs, it would be plugged into the top left switch blank and the wires would be blue, white/blk, green, and green/white.

I don't know what it's for. It's definitely not fog light wiring.

That looks like the "beeper" when you lock/unlock your truck with the remote.

The white connector is for power mirrors.

You may have wiring in the doors but manual mirrors.
You will need power mirrors and a switch.

any idea what I would need to hook this up ? I bought this truck without keyless entry or intermittent wipers, installed the wiper switch and the keyless entry which is oem just snagged the transmitter from a junk yard truck(rare to find a junkyard truck in the northeast lol) I’m assuming I would need the buzzer and the wiring would do the rest ?

Any way to tell if I have power mirrors already ? (Without pulling the doors off)

You may not have to pull the entire door panel off, just the little sail panel (small triangular piece at the front-top of the door). Then, with a flashlight, see if there are wires going into the mirror.
