So having an issue with travel trailer wiring and need some assistance. I have two wires that I think are wired incorrectly or there is a short somewhere else in the circuit. It is for a trailer back up camera. camera is powered from the trailer running lights. brake and signal lights work fine, just the running lights don't work. Two wires come together. both are white/white-green stripe. They are crimped to the backup camera power connector which has a red wire and a black wire. I have unconnected everything. If I run a continuity test across one (white to white-green stripe on the same wire), I get a tone, if I do the same on the other they don't. So my question is how should they be crimped together? if I crimp white on one to white on the other, and white-green stripe on one to the white-green stripe on the other is that correct? And how should the backup camera be connected? Will be away from computer for about 90 minutes so I will not be able to respond for a while.

    THANKS!!

When i hook up the trailer and turn on the running lights, the fuse in the truck blows. So i did some checks on the trailer and there is a grounding issue. But it's under warranty so just need to drop it off.
