Will model 7559 still be available for 2021 model year? And when will we know for certain?

Not sure, but manuals are a dying breed and I want to scoop another one up in an access cab before they phase them out. They got rid of the base regular cabs and the base SR access cab manuals so it’s only a matter of time I think.

My guess is that if there was going to be a change, it would have happened for the 2020 MY refresh. But, that didn't stop them from dropping the 2.7l 5MT after 2017.

I am speculating that the MT will be gone when the 4th Gen hybrid drivetrain happens. Only a couple hybrids were MTs. And, it would seem to be a typical cost cutting method for the other increased expenses.

    Again, just my uninformed guesses.

I doubt they will cancel it, the new factory in Mexico that just started production has begun producing Manual Models so you should be good to go.

I’m hoping, just didn’t know if Toyota releases a model # lineup sheet for the upcoming year ahead of time so we know what we’re getting.

No. Stuff starts to trickle out during car show season, but the real details get released once the dealer meetings happen and ordering for the MY is opened up. That is around early summer.

Once you see posts about the new color for the Pros, the other details won't be far behind.

Considering the 2020 price bump, that is a real good deal. I believe that is close to what I paid for my non-Tech / non-Prem 2017 MT Sport.

Confirmed 2024 model lineup will include the new manual transmission model Tacoma. It will be offered in single cab only. Single cab only, not two buckets or a single bench seat...a single seat in a small cab, the area adjacent to the driver will be uncovered bed area for gas cans, spare tire etc.

This is because market research indicates manual trans equipped Tacoma have no need for any passengers. Nobody wants to ride with the manual trans owners and listen to them yap endlessly about how awesome they are because they can push in a clucth pedal and move a lever.

I wholeheartedly agree with this. Luckily I much prefer to drive alone so I can yap endlessly to myself about how awesome I am. I'm the only one I know who can stand me.

They did release the model #'s for 2021 and thankfully no MT's got the axe.

I hope they never stop offering some sort of MT. But it is a pretty specialty package. Less than 5% of sales are MT. Plus they get worse MPG (which was a shocker until I learned about the gearing). I don't have a MT, but it is one of the main reasons I started looking into the Tacoma in the first place.

That price is pretty good considering the current market. The dealers in my area won't budge off of MSRP. The only discounts they will offer are factory rebates or special financing when it is available.
