Just a small critique for safety's sake, its somewhat dangerous to use the towing ball as a recovery point/pull point because under enough weight it can snap off and become a missile. Instead, its safer remove your ball hitch and wrap your strap around the hitch pin itself in your hitch receiver.

Ah, I didn't know that. Thanks for the tip, this was my first time. I definitely won't make that mistake again.

No problem man, probably wouldn't have happened pulling that stump out but if you tried that pulling someone out of a ditch or something it could be dangerous. I dont have any real recovery points (mostly because I dont have 4wd anyway) so when someone asked me to pull them out of a ditch I just used the hitch pin.

Looks like a blast. Wish I could have done this to the palm trees I removed in my AZ house. Dug them all by hand

I bought what looks to be that same USB light, for the exact same purpose. This issue I have is that sometimes it blinks on and off in the center console. It doesn't blink if I plug it into the main USB on the dasboard, only inside the center console. Not sure exactly why. Have you noticed this at all?

I may be doing something similar at some point if I can’t work it out with a shovel and chainsaw. I was going to use my hitch shackle. That should be a safe enough option, right?8F09CB7A-F3F0-4401-B00D-CBC0CCE3CE08.jpg

Does it interfere with the safety radar in the grill?

I don’t know where I saw it, but I saw a supposed pic of a 2019 intake off a Tacoma with less than 20K on it. It was built up with carbon. I say it can’t hurt. I have one.

Put some lipstick on my pig this weekend! I finally got around to putting on the stuff I bought during the TRD 40th anniversary/40% off sale (last spring was that?). I had bought them for my 2019, but before I put it on I had basically decided I was going to trade in for a 2020. So I held off putting anything on at the time. I didn't want to get the new truck during the winter, so I ordered the 2020 back at the beginning of the year with expectations to get it in early spring, but due to covid plant shutdowns and such, only finally got my 2020 in late July. I wanted to get past the break-in period of 1000 miles before doing too much to it, so now I'm finally to where I can put that stuff on! I did the TRD cat-back exhaust, cold air intake (CAI), radiator cap, and oil cap. (Links are to my mod thread for pictures since it's easier than finding and re-uploading them.) The exhaust sounds nice, gives it a nice low grumble when hitting the accelerator but pretty quiet when idling. The biggest gains I think were from the caps, bet I gained at least 10 HP if not more from them!!

Also threw on the glovebox letter inserts I had been holding on to for almost as long as the TRD stuff.

I think they will be a solid little addition, snapped on nice and snug, no rattling around, a really nice fit and finish.

Hmm, I had never tried the key fob start on my 2020 Sport until right now and it worked! I pressed the lock button on the fob twice real fast, and then held it down the 3rd time until the engine started, very cool. I had been using the Toyota app on my phone to remote start my truck when the weather was hotter. Helped cool it down a bit.

I was actually thinking about buying a Yoda action figure to hang from my rear view mirror at one point. Then I would have my toy yoda in my Toyota... kinda figured nobody would get it though, so decided against it.
