She really likes them. Hopefully I can pick my 4Runner up in the next few weeks and get her old ones on there.

I wonder how the crowd will be. I've never been, but it seems like it would be fun. And the scenery alone may be worth the drive from Jonesboro...

Saturday will probably have quite a few people if the weather holds. I think I'm going down on Friday as i want to fly down to south AR on Saturday.

Hey all! Dallas member here planning to go to the Ozarks in November to hike the Whitaker trail for the foliage. Any easy trails for a stock OR or recommended drives to do? Planning to stay in Fayetteville or Ozark. Appreciate the recommendations!

Most of the USFS runs will not be a problem. Just be aware some of the smaller, tighter trails are ATV only. Also, hunting season will be open with hunters down more remote trails and dispersed camping along most other roads. Drive defensively for those that aren't. Also, by November foliage will be past peak, don't be disappointed though, the views will be better with most of the leaves off by late-ish November depending on weather. Enjoy...

Also, when you're in Ponca, check out the Buffalo Outdoor Center. Cool store and they have many cabins with great views for rent.

Thank you sir! Interesting about the foliage. I was reading an article on the foliage and they mention peak times were end of Oct to early Nov. Planning that first weekend of Nov.. but will still be a sight to see! Thank you again

November is deer season, so be careful if hiking.

I second what has been stated above. Also, enjoy the elk if you catch them in Boxley Valley!

Thank you for the suggestion! I think we can check out King's falls, Whitaker, Buffalo wilderness, then check out Ponca and Boxley valley before we make our way back. Will just drive safe out there and be aware!

My favorite tune was the 1.05 performance 93octane tune, but 2.0 final has been great for everyday driving. I get great gas mileage when driving from SWA to NWA. Around town of course is less. Driving I-49 to Shreveport sucks but it has always sucked. I get terrible mileage on that road no matter what speed I'm going. It always feels like you're driving uphill with a headwind.

We drove up there yesterday and had a good time. Are you the one that posted a video about it? I couldn't find that lookout that you showed if it was you.

I've not ran anything until 2.0 final, so I can't compare, but I know just that tune alone makes such a big difference in performance. It honestly makes a bigger improvement in drivability than anything I think.

Nope. Believe that was @Ozarklander. I did like the area though and am probably going to take a quick camping trip out there when it cools off but before deer season.

Would either one of you be willing to run the tune on my truck? I’ve seen people with it be able to tune other tacos so I figured I would try and see if anyone had it in here that I could offer a little cash to vs buying the whole thing. @8Whiskey2 @Justin85[/QUOTE]
