To which I agree, many chips already. I think I like it because the other two cars my family owns are white.

You probably can fry an egg on it and it won't stick.

Yes you mean wax it properly? I’ll let them detail it, then I’ll clean all their crappy wax off. Then I’ll ceramic coat the whole thing.

In this area most Toyota dealership leaves a swirl out mess that needs paint correction. This shouldn't be an issue with the G9.

Wool Wax done today, and the Dual ARB Compressor is al hooked up and running in the rear cubby with the switch out back as well. Everything is hooked up to the 2nd Battery in the bed and for switch illumination I tapped into the rear brake light. Thank you @jpereira2

Hey Rick, being in Mass I know how important this job is to you. I'm planning the Wool Wax in the next couple of weeks as well. Curious if you do any bare frame prep prior to the treatment.

My '13 only has 56k on her, and really only one season of serious winter driving, so the frame is good, but there is still surface rust, and it flakes in a few random spots. Considered wire brushing and applying a rust converter, THEN the WW. Wondering what's your approach?

Oh, and Good Morning! (apparently that's a thing on these here build threads)

I do not do any prep, it's been fluid filmed since new. So all the stuff over the years that has caked on top of the stuff is all there. I have no flaking, but do have rust spots on welds which is common on all vehicle. @crashngiggles has been underneath many times and comments on how new it looks underneath.

Do you powerwash the previous season coating off before applying new? During the season, do you avoid undercarriage washes? Gonna go out on a limb here and assume with your truck build you don't spend much time in drive through car washes...
