What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Is your truck black or mgm or some other dark color? I've got my center cap emblems in the bleach bath, wondering what color to paint 'em. I used up all my old can of MGM but not super sure about red. If it's not too much trouble, think you could snap a shot of them in daylight?

 

For the aluminum filter housing you didnt have to swap put any of the inner parts correct? For Tacomas it comes ready to go?

 

I would go a little bit further and put a blanket over the strap in case it breaks, it can only go so far. Kind of like you should do when using a winch. JMHO

Yes. My TSS sensor is behind the emblem and sits almost in the center of the baja bar and the top cross member. Never had an issue with the TSS from that. This pic should show it better.

 

Going back to night shift tonight so I spent the late morning and afternoon washing and waxing it.

Quick question. Someone introduced a new roof rack with color matched sides as an option. A few members have them installed. Anyone remember the company? TIA.

Love that rack, wish they had a long bed version of it. Looks like I could probably get a shop to make longer bars for it, and just weld the caps back onto the new longer side bars.

 

Did a little dump run, the scale operator took a double take (or two...) when we first got on the scale. Also, it’s my GF’s hand and not mine, in case anyone was wondering
