Generally, install over the top unless OVT mentions that we shouldn't for a certain new version.

@OVTune ,or anyone else, I was also noticing that the gear sizes under drivetrain control don't match the ratios for the truck.

Hold on... If looking at a shift map:

upshift 4-5... That's to determine at what speed it shifts up to fifth gear from fourth gear. The downshift map 4-5 would determine the speed it shifts down to fourth from fifth. Correct????

Have you looked at the 4.88 / 5.29 files? There may be a conversion factor in there.

Take a look at drive control gear size......not sure if it's gear size or ratio......but it's not the ratios that the truck have. May be why the MPH where it upshifts is off.

That's seems correct based on what I've tested so far. For each upshift table I believe it is the area ABOVE the curve where it will trigger an upshift. Such as in 2-3 gear up-shift tables if you are traveling around 30.07 mph(?) it will upshift if your pedal angle is between 0 and 17%. Hence as you increase pedal angle and keep speed it will not upshift.

Opposite goes for the downshift tables. The area UNDER the curve will trigger a downshift. As you increase pedal angle and keep speed it will downshift.

the exe version won't change, however we will start publishing it in versions so you can accurately keep track of what you're on vs what version is available.

There was an update posted about a week ago that fixed several tables. If you haven't updated in +/- a week, we recommend doing so.

Without browsing all 200 pages, are there any solid user modified tunes for 04b04 yet? Gonna get vftuner installer this week, just curious!

If you look in these last few pages you'll see that Mooseditty17 has been working on a tune for that ECU.

@OVTune should the values under drive train control 1st,2nd, etc gear size match the gear ratios our trucks have?

Are you certain those numbers aren't compensating for tire size or something?
