I like the cut of your jib.

Mine's a bit further away. In the crawlspace.

For the Sport at least, it makes all the difference in the world for the harsh suspension.

I took mine off for about a month and put it back on this weekend. I didn't like how it handled in a panic avoidance scenario >45 mph. I also would max out my front suspension on the inside wheel going around turns (fairly aggressively). It was fun for a minute, but I didn't find any marked improvements off-road to make the on-road sacrifices worthwhile.

Great points for sure. Just like many things with this truck. Things are easily taken on and off. Bolted on etc. I’m going to see how I like it. Long road trips we’ll see I’ll most likely bolt it back on— I like the way it feels without one most the time.

I blindly recommend it for Sports. For others, esp the ORs, I would say cautious testing.

In a decent drive in a DCSB MT OR with the SB, it felt like my Sport without one.

Yup exactly. I’m in a 6spd Manual too. My stealth custom rims with -12 offset should be here soon. :fingerscrossed:

Interesting that the sport suspension is that stiff! FWIW, my "testing" was with ADS 2.5 EXT w/700# springs and clickers, and a metric craptonne of weight.

Yeah. It is stupidly stiff. The cab would rip side to side when hitting uneven bumps. Uncomfortable on the roads we have around here and insufferable offroad. I believe the Sports have 700lb springs with the 30mm SB. The OR is 28mm, I believe?

The stock Hitachis are not great, but I don't hate them enough to swap them out yet. At 38k, they probably don't have much left in them on either end. The big question will be what to replace them with for the Stock ride and height. I'll probably have a convo with Headstrong in 10k or so.

Oh yeah. You should have no worries with that setup. I assumed you were Stock. What build thread? LoL!

Just got the email from SCS. They ship from Livermore on Wednesday. My buddy said the same exact thing about his sport. That’s why I took it off. Just drove on highways and around the neighborhood— feels super nice. I’m going to adjust the coilovers tomorrow the spanning wrench just got here. Will remove the blocks and do a AAL in a week or two
