That's impressive. I haven't hit above 17 (similar setup and gas, double cab, short bed) and usually get about 15.

    I'm guessing mostly highway miles?

Yes, I drive mostly all highway miles. I commute 50 miles a day to work, so I guess that helps. I am watching my shift points now and trying to shift at 2000 rpm and below.
I hope it continues to go up as it breaks in more.
Now I gotta get the 07 spring TSB and Tailgate TSB done sometime.::rolleyes:

For the past two tanks I have been getting 22.12. 95% of that was highway driving.

I ran out 1/4 of a tank of city driving in charleston, then drove back to greenville and ran my tank down to about 1/8th of a tank. I filled up an did the math. With the first 1/4 of the tank in the city and the rest on the highway and the AC on the whole time, i got 20.25mpg. I was cruising between 70 and 75mpg on the way back

Today I filled up for my trip to Bodega Bay(Ca.) My wife has been driving stop and go , in town alot and I am getting 19.5MPG. I just put on a new Leer cap and we will see? I have only 1,200 on the Prerunner . When I put on my original Leer cap on the Ranger I got 1/2-1.00 MPG more, so here is hoping. New pics soon of the new cap at the OCEAN....Rich(Pb jr. now LOLOL) 0916070085150Largejpgs.jpg1_d195082ed80c24e496f0dfc197d6e37021b15133.jpg
