We roll with AR pistols in the bathrooms around here, but with the baby crawling lots of Dad's home defense arms are now moving to magnetic above adult standing height levels/above the doorways.
Now that shower box wheel gun means no hot brass hitting you in not so fun places.

 

Pfft. I don't think you can call yourself a man unless you've had hot brass go down your shirt and get wedged in between your skin and the 50 lbs of armor you're wearing.

My favorite rifle to shoot is my 308. I need to get a brake.

 

I love my 308 you shooting bolt action or semi auto

 

I'm shooting semi, although I wouldnt mind getting a 6.5 upper for it for distance eventually

 

That will work for another year or two. After that kids become little monkeys and climb like nobody's business.

 

Might have a basic bird cage for a .30 cal barrel if you want it...let me double check my 'muzzle brake/flash device' drawer. (Had to put on my can accepting ones)...

 

Yes...but not long after that firearm safety time!!! ( Did it with several of my non blood nieces and nephew).

Plus, the kids gives me legitimacy to my bigger better fire protection safe (country living and all).
