    Mine arrived today as well. Very fast turnaround and unprepared for it unfortunately lol. Almost every group buy I’ve seen for various items seem to take quite a while, months at least usually. So needless to say I haven’t bought any gaskets or or anything else yet. Kinda regretting it since they’re in hand now and have tomorrow off. Will post up when I get them in the 4Runner and improvements I see. Thank you again!

    I honestly wouldn't hesitate to reuse these gaskets as needed. They seem to hold up pretty well for rubber. For instance almost a year ago- my 09 with 180k on it had these done and all the gaskets could have been reused.

    Mine was at 156k and the gaskets were all still soft, not brittle at all. Just did it as preventative maintenance.

Boxed out frame in spots I could reach. soon to be a chopped bed at the rear axle interior -lathewerks co polymer stainless shift knob, modified from a wrx to fit. -pioneer mid and treble speaker replacement. -future mods -4.56 gears arb front and rear lockers -traction bar for the rear. -full carbon front clip. -supercharger eventually.
    finally got around to putting them in. Thank you tacoma beast for your service. Literally called me/txted me pictures, confirmed I wasn't being an idiot. I still have my custom 17mm cam bolt tool i welded up. If anyone in the denver area is thinking about doing this and wants help, I now feel pretty comfortable offering assistance. knocked this out as well as the intake spacer, and engine thus far is running seemingly better than it was. Smiles all around.

    I was happy to help ya out. I really want to make sure anyone doing this is sure that it's being done right without the need to second guess themselves. Some of your "custom" tools are hilarious and right up there with some of the creations I've had to make in the past. Post a pic of that extended wrench up. We can call it the custom cam bolt breaker wrench

    there were a couple attempts made... but i am satisfied with the final version.

    Def you were helpful when I was doing mine but I was still crossing my finders hoping it would workout. the timing marks were never where I wanted them to be but I went for it. Been good and ol guden tight on the bolt. Def once you have it done you can help others.

    My gaskets seems solid as well. I kept them just in case but had already bought new ones figured its there why not.

    I have about 40k on my set. These were sold with the UCON system and many ran them for years and years before I started offering them. They are a very safe mod assuming they are installed correctly. I wheel the crap outta my truck all over the country too which is also a daily driver. Trails/offroad parks include Rubicon, Slick Rock, Moab, Dusy Ershim, Hidden falls offroad park, wolf caves, Katemsey offroad, Rausch creek, AOAA, Vermont's class IV trails.
