He's known he'd want a 9mm for quite some time and was at Cabela's recently just as they were bringing out a wagon of ammo.

I've still got plenty in my personal stash.

I'll grab some here and there as I find it. It will have to become more available eventually

It sucks but everyone was saying buy cheap stack deep the past couple years. Im not rich so I stocked up on what I absolutely needed.
Now I'm running out of stuff like 380. Last time I looked i couldn't find a single box. Ammo is expensive so im kinda at the screw it ill focus on other stuff stage.

Also I'm new to AK's and am trying to find a source of good mags. Anyone have a favorite place to get them. My LGS had mostly 74 mags and I didn't want to roll the dice on the promags.

What's the draw of the bakelites?

I think it's more of an authenticity thing. Personally, I prefer surplus steel mags. I've never had an issue with a steel mag, even when kept loaded for years on end.

Basically this. They function like any other mag but more on the pricey side. They don't make them anymore so it's a "cool to have" thing. I bought three from a dude and said we could try and get a GB going if we get enough guys on board. Didn't really hash out details so that's still up in the air on price and logistics
