get a kick when I see people say "No way I'd sell to those guys they would just sell it for more!" Einsteins all over the place think Carvana should take a loss? HAHAHAHAHA, sell it yourself and enjoy that experience with the tire kickers, low ballers, trade offers for goats, etc.....
Carvana did me right and if I was looking to make a quick sale ever again that's the first place I'm looking.

Glad selling your prius worked out for you and the name calling and condescending attitude is totally necessary..I sure miss my high school days..

What I find interesting is that some people would pay those prices for a used vehicle. Yes, Tacoma is the top seller and has a good reputation. I am not convinced the Tacoma is that good. If I was in the market I would buy new and then keep it for 8-10 years like I normally do.

I was given an offer of $33k three weeks ago for my 2018 DCSB off-road 4x4 with 24,500 miles. I held off because I had a lot going on at the moment. I just checked again and it dropped to $29.5k. At that price I will keep the truck.

Has anyone notice the prices fluctuate? Any indication they will go back up? I’m in AZ

yes.. my initial offer was 35680...a few days later after i got all the documents i needed together..i had made a mistake not adding the aluminum steps.. the 800 dollar factory option.. when i added that, the offer went down substantially. i contacted them and they made some bs excuse about market fluctuation and that i hadn't already started the process so they weren't going to honor the original offer.. apparently the price they are willing to buy my car for "fluctuates" due to market forces while the prices they are selling cars for doesnt..the market mysteriously doesnt affect their sale price, only yours :)

I had something similar with mine. I typed in something wrong and when to change it and it generated a new buy for about 2k less. I called them up and they changed it back for me. It was an extremely easy process for me, sucks they wouldn't change it back for you.

I think the Arizona market doesn’t command a premium like other markets.

Damn, I’ll have to keep checking and hope the market fluctuates back. AutoNation gave me an offer of $30,500 and I’m asking if they can do better. I might see what local dealers can do. I’ll keep my truck if I can’t get something close to the $33k

if you get the price you're happy with, why does it matter what they sell it for? if you're thinking " screw them, it's worth more...I KNOW WHAT I HAVE!!! :D " then sell it yourself. they're not staying in business by not making a profit and it's quick and ez and private sale can be a pita with all the knuckledraggers you'd need to deal with.....which is why so many trade it in or sell it to places like Carvana.

Good for you, glad you are happy with it. Like any other business they use the money they pay to get the product they want. If they want Tacomas (and they clearly did) they ratchet up the offers and then get more 'yes'. When they have enough to hit their target inventory or their customer won't pay then they will lower their prices. If you like the offer, grab it, don't look back.
