Thats what Im using for a grease gun; works great! And like rich said, clean up the zirks. I used brake cleaner and a rag. And pumped those suckers until new grease came out.

 

Please forgive me because I have never done anything like this... What kind of grease do I need? I know Richy said he likes Bel Ray, but is there a certain type or weight or something I need?

 

Just have strong hands.

You could do that I guess lol. If you go to Manchester muffler please note that they are first come first serve. You appointment gets you in line essentially instead of a hard start time. (Depends on how busy they are that day)

Explain to them exactly what you want them to do and they will cut it however you want. I needed to get new pipe run from the mid pipe back because the other pipe rusted and was falling off.
They definitely don't rip you off at all. One of the cheapest installs I've gotten. I've sent friend there to have their exhaust redone on many different types of vehicles.

I brought the muffler to them and had them bend the pipe and weld everything in place.
Cash on hand is good to talk a final price with.

I think I paid around $300 + tip. They cut the rusted midpipe and welded the muffler, also bent pipe from the muffler back to the OEM position. I also got the exhaust tip from them. Nothing special, just an exhaust tip. I asked them to leave a little extra room above the axel for travel "for the future". They did an excellent job bending the pipe around the spare tire.

Mounted the bracket and switch for the winch yesterday. Quickly took off my grille this morning in hopes that I would get the rest done today (mounting control box and final wiring). And unfortunately the control box is too big to fit in either mounting location on the winch. Guess Ill have to figure out where I can put it in the engine bay, fab up a mounting bracket, and make some longer wires to go from the control box to the winch.

Yo Rich, how good are you with determining wire gauge? If I bring one of the wires in question to the ride Sunday, you think you can determine the gauge by looking at it? The short wires in the picture below are the ones I will need to replace with longer ones if Im mounting this in the engine bay.

 

I'm no expert and don't have a winch, but a quick search looks like 2 gauge wire is used for winches:

@mhoadley Only way I know how to determine wire gauge is by reading the actual wire and using this.
