Anyone have a waterport mounted to either their bed rack or Roof Rack. Mounted mine here pretty quick but it sort of vibrates a lot hitting bumps. I may do something different and mount on top of bed rack using vertical brackets that bolt to the sides of waterport.

I plan on mounting my waterport like this when my full height truss arrives (just ordered over the weekend).

I do have the uptop waterport mount for my alpha, but the mounting holes on the newer waterports have changed, and uptop's mount does not fit these.

I believe Drew said he'd have uptop design a new one for the roof. I will have to follow up on that.

Our waterport mounts work specifically with their bed rail style mounts

What's up guys, First post. I have been lurking for a while. I just ordered the Bravo Rack with the SX6 slim amber/white combo. It has been fun to see this go from concept to a booming business. Nice job Drew and Micah.

It's been covered some, but '

    a) when you guys punch the drip rubber on top, do you remove it first to find the female threads on the roof?

    b) If so, how do you re-apply the molding?

Also, I plan to run the wire from the light to the engine bay.

    c) Have you guys running the extreme LED X6s slim light have any issues with the first wire reaching the engine bay running along the window?

    d) I've already got a bumper light bar, will I run into issues if I put 2 hot wires on the positive battery terminal?

I plan on running the base switches into the litttle drawer under my switches (where everybody keeps change). I don't see this being issue as I plan on only running the lights when I'm in the woods this deer season. Bumper light bar works great but doesn't give the spread on woods trails.

    THANKS!

    a) yes, pull drip rails, find holes, mark your drip rails and punch away.

    b) simply put it back down and drop your spacers through the holes.

    c) We don't use their harness so i cannot answer this. We also drill holes in the roof :sawzall:

    d) no, as long as they are fused individually.

Thats what I did. It barely reaches in there with that big ass plug ExtremeLED uses. I ended up drilling tiny hole along the rubber molding along the windshield.

One of these days I plan to use SwitchPro's as I don't like all the RELAYS etc that come with the ExtremeLED harness.

Thanks man, I put in an order for the Bravo this morning. My main determining factor was your engagement on here and much of a community was built around these racks and the innovation/troubleshooting. Happy to give you guys my business.

Thanks man. The switchpros look awesome, but my novice butt would fry some fuses with some crappy wiring I'm sure. Caliraised makes a nice relay holder I plan on using: https://www.extremeterrain.com/cali...BM3ftEqB9w_0TE9bkHEaArzJEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds

Could you post a close up pic of the tent mounting to the rack.
I am curious on how much space there is. I know prinsu makes an adapter to raise the tent a little to help.
Waiting on my bravo ex for the topper, right at the 8wk mark.

    Thanks

Will get some pics after work. I purposely mounted it low to fit in the garage.

So there’s really not a lot of space...

I should mention that I got two extra bars and attached them to the tent and then lifted the tent onto the rack.

With regards to the drip LoL dinging, you remove the molding, put tape edge across center of holes, replace molding and mark area of holes with marker. Then use punch to hammer holes into molding.
You won’t have replace tape or anything as the five holes you punched will hold the molding in along with the silicone you squeeze in there.

I used a similar method for my Prinsu. But the method is the same for both. Also, upTOP has an installation video with @runnin4tacos TacoTwonz Pro.

    Start there.

That waterport mount you have doesn't look like the bed rail mount.
