They have that problem here, the smaller city’s and towns have started “urban archery season” where you can bow hunt them to get the numbers down.

Here the cities have grown and expanded to have county land. finally did Urban archery to control the deer.no gun pressure and some huge bucks. i know people that bow hunt in town even when gun season is in because of the quality bucks.

I had some back in the 1990's, they worked good until everyone started breaking into trucks and stealing guns

I’ve been participating in a deer study for a few years, I got this in the mail yesterday. I fill out what I see each time I hunt but I do it online instead of on the paper they send. Here’s some of the numbers they’ve gathered if you can see them.

Saw a massive neighborhood deer in Southlake, TX last winter that was the biggest Buck I've ever seen in person. Looked like he was going to fall over with those antlers. No hunting in the area so the only thing he has to worry about is other smaller bucks and cars. Lucky fella

I love this pic. You can tell this deer isn't young. He definitely lived a good life! GREAT shot! Enjoy that meat!

Oklahoma is similar--- We never shoot our limit. And really just started hunting our property after 200 years our family has owned it. My twin bro shot a 159 non-typical whitetail --- his first deer ever.
