Posting another pic of the new (used) soft top I picked up. Can’t get enough of it, it really transforms the look of the truck :)

on an unrelated note, I drive a 5 lug Tacoma so the suspension market is pretty much nonexistent with only a few spacer lifts, which I already have. I am thinking about purchasing a small body lift (2” maybe 3”) for more clearance. Does anyone have any recommendations where I can take it to get installed around here?

Got the passenger side rock slider installed this morning. Took me longer than I expected, had to wrestle with the L bracket and C channel to get all the holes to line up for the bolts, but finally figured it out. Pretty stout unit, I love the design and the look, and my dog will appreciate the added step when getting into the truck!

Isn't that a great use for the jack?? I have a riding mower jack that's similar and it's come in handy for front and rear bumpers, too.

Absolutely. Mine happens to be a motorcycle jack that I rarely use except for changing oil, but it definitely came in handy for this installation and made it easier.

I'm in the same boat. The mower jack has a section in the middle that could be used for motorcycles. I've used it more for truck modifications than jacking up the mower. I started to get rid of it until I got my sliders!

    Truth.

I would always pull my tshirt outta my pants if in the turrent or kneeling. Do the wiggle and for the most part the hot brass would fall out.

Prone.... just had to eat it.

I really appreciate the offer. I've got one for the cans I plan on getting, so I'll have to get the same muzzle devices as well

The can I want hasnt been released to non gov customers yet, but it's been out for at least a year. Hopefully soon, I'd like to get one before the next state gov election.

I used the free version for our VT/NH/ME trip last year... it has the same issues as others like iOverlander where the sites in popular areas are generally overrun but it's worked in a pinch for me when picking a random clearing wasn't an option.

Haven't used it since but I think it was just coordinates at the time. I was mostly using Gaia for the off-road portions of the trip and Google Maps for the on-road legs.

It’s actually a G21 :D Previously @Rome604 who set it up nicely. It’s a really fun gun to shoot and great for bumps in the night.

I don’t even like Glocks, but have a slew of them. They go bang every time and hit the target if I do my part.

I think it was more like iOverlander or Boondocking... all it was good for was finding established camp sites (both developed and primitive) and it didn't really have any of the other features like trails. It's a good complement to those other apps that do cover routes but all I got out of it was when we ended up somewhere without remote camping nearby (e.g. Acadia NP) and needed something for the weekend.

I can't stand shooting Glock... I always have a super high grip and my 19 Gen 4 ripped the shit out of my knuckle (and I hated the sights) so I sold it to my brother. I understand other models are better about it but I'm much more a fan of zee Germans anyway.

Stop teasing me with the 43x!

I'll be like @2016Taco4Me with the 43 and 43x if I don't pull through with the self control.
