I did a line of weather stripping thin off Amazon between the bed rail and the bed. Then I filled the from holes with silicone. I do get some moisture in from the tailgate but rarely. Also have the bed mat so the moisture doesn't end up on my stuff anyways

I ordered Wednesday 8/26 and received the cover yesterday 9/1. I did message them about a tracking number a day or so later and was promptly given one.

Anyone with ideas on what I should do with this little problem? Looks like someone may have been a little curious? Rubber mallet? Attempt to bend back by hand?

I would take it off, lay it Face down on some cardboard or moving blanket To protect it, and with my knee on the panel Just before the bend starts and pull up on the bent portion by hand. For starters.
A wood or rubber mallet might be needed.

Hey Dave, just to make sure, it’s not your tailgate on closing hitting the panel and kicking it up is it?

It does close tight but the other side looks perfect. Hard to tell. I assumed nefarious actor at work.

EDIT: I think I'll take the cover off, attempt to bend it back as you suggested, and also re-torque all bolts to spec on the rails at the same time. Sounds like a good Monday evening project to me as I'm waiting for parts on most of my other mods.

Looking at these pics I think you’re right, definitely looks like someone pried it up that side. I’m sure you can get it right though!

Welp, this one was my bad it seems. I'd like to think I'm not such a bonehead IRL but so far I've made two rather silly goofs with this one cover, not a great track record.

I had positioned my OEM tie downs in a setup optimized for my grocery cargo net. I did this since I’m 100% more likely to use the truck to buy milk and eggs than go somewhere fun and I'd much rather spill milk in the bed than in the cab. One of the four feet connected to the rearmost panel which are used to separate it from the frontmost panel when fully folded was bumping the OEM tie down just enough to raise the corner.

So, good news all around and an easy fix if anyone else is similarly foolish. I did learn that the aluminum panels have quite a bit of natural flex.

While troubleshooting this I decided to try using corner brackets to reinforce the frame underneath the panels. While I've been very clear that my boys are not allowed to play trampoline on the cover, my 5 year old is fully capable of using a stool to grab the truck key, hopping the fence, unlocking the tailgate and climbing inside the bed. So I figured I should try to be a little proactive on defense against the wildness which is sure to escalate. I only got 2 done as it took a fair bit of time, but it feels a bit more solid now. I'll see if I can somehow source the corner brackets themselves in stainless like the hardware I used to attach them.

TLDR, stash your OEM rail tie downs for now or get some low profile ones or save the OEM ones for when you go topless.
