I say 7-8, only because I know I don’t know how to do everything or have the correct tools for some things, but I’m never afraid to research the heck out of things and break it dow to where I feel comfortable trying.
The only exception (though not mechanical) was recently attempting to cut my wife’s hair during this pandemic. I cut my boy’s hair and my own hair (used to cut my own all through high school and college) but when I tried to figure it out I admitted defeat and chickened out. Just wasn’t comfortable and knew there’d be repercussions if I botched it!
The one thing that I learned from that experience was that my wife trusts me to cut her hair, and that was a high mark in my book of marriage!

I've been cutting my hair for 20ish years, only thing there is the sides so I just shave it

My wife cuts her own hair, has since we've known each other. Cuts our daughter and sons hair as well. I don't know how she cuts her own but she does good at it.

You know the difference in a good hair cut and a bad hair cut?

    About 2 weeks :D

Thank you sir, I’ve seen some glass stuff done on how it’s made and love it, that is a whole nother talent that I don’t have (like playing an instrument)

Share some of your work if you’d like.

We do a mix of traditional, scientific glassblowing and glass welding, only we use almost exclusively pure Quartz glass which is specialized. Ive seen some glass work on how its made and that stuff blows my mind too lol. I've put some of this stuff in the anything welding thread too, thats a cool thread also.

    That is super cool!

We have a glass company we do some work for, repairs and also building some heavy duty carts to move their glass around. I like going over there and looking at the projects they have going on.
