the graveyard is full o contenders

this being the 4th try for bronco

the 3rd try for the jeep p/u

gmc has tried many times to keep a blazer type afloat

aint NO wind in thwm sales

when Isuzu/volkswagen have tried yet failed with mid sized p/u

I love these threads. People always want more. Then when a new truck costs 50k they bitch about it. Honestly I don’t want more. If I want more I’ll add it myself. I really want less. $800 a month car payments are ridiculous. That’s what I pay for my mortgage.

I have no idea what any of those posts mean.

But for real insight into they way Toyota actually thinks this article is a very good read:

Summary. The Toyota Way is continuous, slow and constant improvement.

Perhaps Toyota does not want to be selling $100k+ pickup trucks?

How many 25-35 year old trucks of anything you metioned do you still see on the road. Toyota makes the longest lasting trucks for a great price. Spend some extra money to customize it to your liking and drive it til you die.

The 65k conversation is not a result of toyota doing ABC and XYZ. It is a reflection of what people are willing to spend money on, not what the vehicle is capable of.

Perfect example is a Ford raptor. Some places I saw before I got into a Tacoma had a market adjustment of 20k.

I laughed my ass across the street.

You don’t want a Diesel engine developed for the U.S. market

I just wish there was more flexibility in the current lineup.

    Give me a DCLB V6 SR 4X4 M/T and I'm happy as a clam.

    Nope.
