Well, the Land Cruiser shop is closed today because the smoke is still abysmal in Portland, the AQI is a welcomed 344 (the worst air in China is at 209 for comparison), as it hit 529 yesterday and sat in the 400's. Feeling for those with respiratory issues.

SO...today I'll do some more planning and measuring to install these beautiful BMW 325i, manual adjusting seats. The rail widths are different by about 3/8", so my plan is to cut the mounting feet off my old seats and weld them up to the new BMW seats with some plate to account for the difference.

Don't worry, it's just sitting in there for the pic, taken purely to manifest jealousy and envy in my friend's hearts because that's what friends are for.

At first, I thought they were going to be significantly taller than the stock seats until I realized their vertical adjustment was maxed out, so I smushed 'em back down to their lowest height, and it's about identical to stock. So, it'll probably take a few nights staying late, but pretty soon I'll be enjoying sitting for longer than a half-hour in this thing.

    You're not wrong....
Got tired of my trucking getting covered in mud/dirt at the first sign of any moisture on the ground with my current wheel setup. Slapping on some 01-04 fender flares helped a lot.

If I'm going wider, that'll be in the form of 35's or bigger
