    this and that...
who hates the sport? lol people ebegging in the hood swap thread apparently not. plus the sport has the most exclusive setup; v6, access cab, longbed, standard trans, bigger axel, better gear ratio, clutch start cancel, and downhill assist control, all bundled into one.

One can never have too many light bars.
My Dad has a 2019 F150 XLT Sport and I have to say it's pretty sweet. Seems like a Lariat package minus the leather.

I love my taco, but every time I ride in / drive my dad's F-150, I do like how comfy and big it is. Makes hour+ drives so much more comfy, and you could easily sleep in the back seat.

You can get the locker on just about any trim F150; not just the off road models and you can use it in 2wd, 4 high, 4 low. I had a 15 F150 XLT sport but I got it mainly because it was the easiest way to get bucket seats and I liked the blacked out trim instead of chrome.

If I had to guess, the hood is the reason the Tacoma Sport gets so much hate...either you love it, or you don't.

My F150 is a Sport, it's also an FX4 so it gets the FX4 sticker on the back. When I was shopping, the Sport package was one thing I had to have because it only comes with a center console that is a cavern and console shifter (rather than on the column) and a different cloth for the interior. (edit: and the lack of chome/bucket seats). My previous F150 (2011) had a fold down seat in the middle front and almost no storage. The locker is part of the FX4 package (or it was when I bought mine) although you can get the locker with just about any trim level and without the FX4 package. Almost every truck on the lots around here has the locker.

Don't be snobs, there are other perfectly fine vehicles out there.

Yup, I had the configs I wanted. I wanted a TRD OR not in black. Anything other than that, I didn't have any requirements. Manual, auto, red, blue, white, preferred with zero package up options (tech, sunroof, etc). Helped with negotiations "Hey we have this fancy dancy one that's very rare because of the color" "Who cares, I don't give a rip" "....oh...." :D

You happy with your truck? That's all that I care about. White, black, red, blue, sport, pro, manual, auto, couldn't care less. As long as it's not a Nissan Juke, drive whatever makes you happy :notsure:

I actually would have bought a frontier if taco didnt offer MT with double cab :D
Thats the only nissan i would buy, i think frontiers are pretty stout. The pro-4x is not bad at all.

That was my number 2, same truck for 10k less and takes about 300k miles before the better tacoma MPG makes it worth it. I have just wanted a tacoma for so long, I knew if I got a frontier I'd trade in for a tacoma within a few years. Tacoma might trade in for a frontier, might keep it. At least this way I keep more of my monies if/when it gets traded in :p

Yep, i always wanted a taco but could never afford one. My buddy had 1st, 2nd and now 3rd gen. They were all awesome.

So the time finally came and i ended up spending a small fortune on my taco, haha. 2nd biggest purchase of my life. Im planning to keep her for at least 10-15 years, so its worth it to me. I only have 18k miles because i drive a work van during the week.

    Pic for attention :)
