Mustang dynos are referred to as “The Heartbreaker” because they read lower than Dynojet dynos. Even bigger of a heartbreaker for those that don’t figure in drivetrain loss.

Well - Magnuson updated their website with a whole bunch of disclaimers now about gearing, tires, exhaust, weight, etc...

Looks like an opportunity for someone to start writing tunes to incorporate OVT's shifting logic combined with Magnuson's engine/fuel parameters.

On this note I just tried to order from Magnuson and they have to talk to the tech department before approving my order because of 255/85 R16 tires. Sooo I'm waiting for a call back.

Isn't 255/85/16 a 33" tire? Their update said the tune is good up to 33".

Yes! With a supercharger, you could burn them babies down in an afternoon.

They called back and "approved" to take my money, haha.
What are the chances OV tune or anyone is going to make a supercharger tune ?
I'm upgrading the vF tuner but I know from having HP tuner on a Jeep that I don't know shit about it. I guess since Magnuson won't ship until October I've got some time to learn.

OVTune at one point said he would make a tune, but within the past couple of weeks he said he would not be so that he could focus on his turbo system.

What I foresee happening in the future is that some people will be writing their own tunes for the SC and be willing to share their tunes with other users.

To do it right though will take some dyno time and logging to make sure you don't run the engine too lean. Check out jowett's thread as well about his SC install. He's done some really cool custom things with these trucks and Tundras already so I am going to bet he might come out with some upgrade packages in the future to customize the SC even further.

Gee, how considerate of them to take your money from you. I know it must had been really hard for them to allow you to pay them, but I guess they finally figured that someone had to do it.

Depends on the brand. STMaxx in 255/85r16 are 32.8"

BFG KM2s and KM3s in the same size are 33.1" and 33.3"

Not that a fraction of an inch really makes much difference, but still

Does anyone know if the Lotus Exige injectors will work? It uses a supercharged 2GR-FE, our trucks have the 2GR-FKS that we are trying to put blowers on... :anonymous:

The Lotus cars all use the the older 2GR-FE with port only injection. We need to utilize/upgrade the direct injectors on the FKS.

I have a 6spd manual transmission. Based on the OTS tune do you I think I will need to
Upgrade my clutch? Is the lotus evora 400 the same transmission and is this clutch an option? I see that URD has options as well

Researching the clutch right now.... looking for OEM parts that may upgrade the clamp, heat, and durability levels.

10hp per $1k? No thanks. I'll spend the 7k upgrading to the new Tundra with a twin turbo 3.5...
