@Speedytech7 @Empty_Lord my camrys trans fluid dipstick says something about differential gear lube don't remember what exactly but I still don't know if it has a seperate diff and gear lube or if it's all just atf in the transaxle

in rural OK they were one of the only places open past 10pm many drunken hot dogs were consumed by our group post-party

I have that same author/publisher's book for CA trails, it's pretty helpful on the trails it covers but they leave out some popular ones in CA I would have figured they'd cover

Probably buried in the back of my truck somewhere, and yeah it definitely has Hollister in it

 

I'm almost 100% sure they just bathe the diff in ATF on those. There's no hypoid gears in those, so no high pressure lube is necessary.

That's what I figured but the dipstick says

"NOTICE check differential oil level at filler plug see repair manual for details"

Unless it's the exact same dipstick for a model with a diff
