I love this email both because it is funny and also because it is so accurate, at least for me. :) Thought some of the younger guys who may not know all of this yet might learn something about the ladies....

    9 WORDS WOMEN USE

    (1) Fine: This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.

    (2) Five Minutes: If she is getting dressed, this means a half an hour. Five minutes is only five minutes if you have just been given five more minutes to watch the game before helping around the house.

    (3) Nothing: This is the calm before the storm. This means something, and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with "nothing" usually end in "fine."

    (4) Go Ahead: This is a dare, not permission. Don't Do It!

    (5) Loud Sigh: This is actually a word, but is a non-verbal statement often misunderstood by men. A loud sigh means she thinks you are an idiot and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you about nothing. (Refer back to # 3 for the meaning of nothing.)

    (6) That's Okay: This is one of the most dangerous statements a woman can make to a man. "That's okay" means she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake.

    (7) Thanks: A woman is thanking you, do not question, or faint. Just say "you're welcome." (I want to add in a clause here - this is true, unless she says "thanks a lot" - that is PURE sarcasm and she is not thanking you at all. Do NOT say "you're welcome" ... that will bring on a "whatever".)

    (8) Whatever: Is a woman's way of saying "SCREW YOU!"

    (9) Don't worry about it, I got it: Another dangerous statement, meaning this is something that a woman has told a man to do several times, but is now doing it herself. This will later result in a man asking "What's wrong?" For the woman's response refer to # 3.

I've been told by some that when a woman says no, she actually means yes . I am soooo confused by this. How true is this comment. I'm only here to learn a few things. Thank you for your help.

Depends on what she is saying no to. If you ask her if you did something stupid, and she says no, it's yes.

If you ask her if she wants a roll in the hay, and she says no, and you take it as a yes, it's gonna turn out real real bad.

Are you sure? Because that happened to me once and I though no was NO and then she broke up with me because I wan't assertive enough to take it to the next level. I was heart broken for a long time. Her friend said later that she wanted the whole 9 yards but was playing hard to get. I get a headache trying to decode all this sophisticated code sh*t. :frusty:

She cried aloud screaming, did I shave my legs for this.

Hmmm--that one may be specific to the particular woman--every time I've said no, I meant no. But then my husband has told me that I'm not particularly typical for a girl.....

I wish I could--I don't really "get" other women sometimes. Personally, if she broke up with you because SHE wasn't being straightforward about what she wanted (I mean, why not talk to you about it rather than breaking up?), I would guess that you are better off without those games. Some women do play them though. Which sucks because you obviously cared alot about her. I had to hit my hubby with a brick when we were dating because he was too nervous to kiss me (found out later he just didn't want to mess things up with me), but I would never have broken up with him because he wouldn't sleep with me. Sorry I can't be of more help.

If my wife doesn't give me what I want, I should hit her with a brick?
