Without the sensors in the tires the check tire light is always on...so technically it wouldn’t pass inspection.

I read about the light not being able to be turned off because TPMS is a safety feature that ‘shouldn’t be disabled’

I’m thinking @Jeff Lange might be able to help you find that part number. He is Big contributor to the 2020 parts thread.

Inspection states are insane, that sucks. Just another way for Uncle Sam to spend your cold hard cash for you.

I’m not sure but I believe my warranty expired a while ago. I have a 2016 with 41k miles.

ah that's unfortunate, when you get the part number, edit the original post because if yours have failed - there might be others who might see it.

it might be dumb luck it broke, but looking at it it might have been over tightening of the screws from the factory.

I’m actually ordering the Switch-Pro 9100. It doesn’t come with all that does it?

Could you break down your setup to me

I have not heard this before I have had two trucks with no sensors and the light in all the time and never had a problem. It’s not in the odb2 like a real engine code but maybe I am getting lucky with the shop I go to for inspection. If it’s a problem I’ll change back to my stock rims for inspection time.

You have a bigger set than me -- I hardly even drive my truck on gravel roads -- I couldn't cut a hole in it.

I know it looks a little crazy in the photo, I don't know if it was how I was holding the camera or what, but it is only set to 2 1/4 inches.

The only difference I know of, besides color, is about $100 MRSP.

Had the truck for two weeks and I’ve finished the first round of planned modifications.

    Media port relocation
    TRD Pro grill
    Tailgate letter inserts
    Center console tray
    Glovebox organizer
    4Runner wheels and K02s

anything else will be unplanned stuff as I start to get a feel for what I like/want.

thus far I’m happy with having a small amount of chrome around the truck, but I’m debating getting 2020 pro headlights and tails, if I end up doing that the badges will have to go or end up black, we shall see.

    Yeah yeah, like most Tacoma’s

I'm too damn cheap to install TPM sensors for my winter wheels. My light flashes for a few minutes and then goes out. I can live with that.

Looks sweet, please don't ruin it with poser TRD PRO lights, if they didn't have the light up TRD PRO it would be a different story, just snag a set of regular TRD LEDs.
