scary how much damage they can do.

 

It takes no more than 30min, unless you've got serious complications, but normally cleaning up the ground or shortening it solves 90% of swr issues. Picking an optimum antenna location is probably the other 9% and ~1% of randomness issues that cause high swr readings.

Anyone know how the smoke is up around Fortune Creek and Van Epps? Looking for somewhere to go this weekend (if we can get away).
It appears the trails are open, however, it also looks like a storm is coming in.
Figured I'd go to Idaho, but I can't seem to find any good trails that way. Maybe I just don't know where to look.

Soooo, dad's truck started puffin white smoke. Its a 1992 or 3 toyota sr5, has 305k miles on it. Head gasket? Anybody know how hard they are to replace? It has the v6, hes also interested in selling it sadly, but i sort of want to fix it.
The smoke goes away after awhile though.

Ya, he nervous to drive it. I guess he just wants to sell it. If i had the money I'd LS swap it and throw some long travel suspension on it. Probably going to post it up for 3k

 

Good luck. A 3.blow with a blown head gasket isn't worth $3k imo. If it's in immaculate condition even with 300k and a not blown head gasket, I could see $3k.

If the exhaust smells like antifreeze, there's your answer, otherwise it's probably just moisture in the exhaust system if it's been sitting. The motor is a bitch to tear apart, would be easier just to swap in a JDM motor, or even do a 3.4 swap.

Looks nice and a little less that the Rago Wifey system. I've been planning on putting together a packable (not hard installed) system. One of these days I'll route an air line and Anderson power plug out the grille. Then I'll just grab the hoses out of the bag and never even open the hood. Pricing it out though (using quality products) it still cost as much as the system you show.
Did you delete the secondary air injection?

 

The more I look at this the more I like it.
