    Magnaflow muffler, cold air intake, LCE headers, throttle body spacer, short shifter, cat deleted.
    I have a gen 1 Tacoma 98 2.4 l is it bad if I were to pump 91 in my truck. I have headers from LcE not sure if that has anything to do with it but... thanks

    No, it’s not bad. Just not necessary. Your motor is designed to run on 87 octane, and the ignition system is easily able to adjust timing to account for any spark knock or detonation during normal operation.
    You only need to run higher octane if you’re supercharged or turboed with these motors, as they have a pretty low compression ratio to begin with.
