I don’t want 35’s I just want a truck that does the things I asked it to without snap, crackling or popping like it is now.

I worked with an old timer ~15yrs ago, he told me the first day " wanna know the secret to life kid?" I said sure. He said "don't get old." I said "I think I can handle that", well here I am, and I'm pretty sure I'm getting old.

He'd always give me shit when I did something dumb and would ask, "when are you gonna grow up", to which I'd reply, "I'm just trying to follow the secret to life like you said".

I like the way the windshield looks like it is made of giant puzzle pieces.

I can imagine the windshield industry stays pretty busy in the great white north. Plenty of primitive roads and a chip quickly leads to a crack during the colder months

No asphalt or concrete paved roads, only gravel, so it's pretty much the standard up here. Also -80° F temps exacerbate the problem.

    Bingo!

I was thinking the same thing. Starts as a chip and then expands from there. No wonder you’d let it get a few good cracks before bothering to replace.

Why aren't poly carbonate or high impact acrylic windshields more popular? Huh

There are scratch resistant polycarbonate and acrylic and you can polish them out waaaay easier than on glass. Just saying. Seems like a thing that could exist. Weight reduction bro
