Born and raised in Tucson, left when I joined the service. First car was a 1969 Chevelle without AC and vinyl seats.

I tinted my old Subie with 3M crystalline when I was in VA and loved that tint but haven’t done shit with my 4R

Thanks for your service! I can't not do it, man. I love the false sense of security. Dark tint is life. I have a buddy that disagrees on every turn, AC / tint / Sun shield is overrated etc. I can't do it!

Could be worse. At least in AZ it’s dry and I know, hot is hot but it isn’t like the south east hot with the damn humidity.

I will drive around all day in AZ with the windows down and no AC (just did this summer as I drove across country for the 6th time). But out here...even in WV at 90 it’s miserable.

I digress. To each their own and some sun shades and 303 was always enough for me but that’s me.

I do apply interior protectant to my interior but having an extra layer of protection such as tint can only help protect it further. Ceramic tint also keeps the temp in the truck a lot cooler vs not having any tint at all. Even having clear ceramic tint on your windshield will greatly reduce the temp inside the cabin.

I’m not sure where you got that I live in SF but that is not where I live. My truck spends 100% of its time outside where summers reach over 100°F regularly.

I have 73% nano ceramic on the shield. Big price tag but well worth it, from the outside you its a little glossy so in some light its hard to see in, but 0 noticeable vision lost at night. Been stopped a few times by the cops and not one noticed. They did notice my 5% side windows :(

The Bay Area consists of nine counties with completely different weather. Most people think of SF when they hear of the Bay Area, which is understandable, but that’s not the case here.
