That’s not bad 3200for a 2017 with frame damage, Carfax is usually super lowball with there estimates you could prob get a few grand more selling privately but sometimes not worth the hastle

Yeah I’ve looked on CL and I’d bet it would go quick for 35k to the right buyer who wanted a lifted truck. Stock dealer prices are listed 37-38k for used TRDs in my area. It is Nuts.

Have seen used SRs listed at low 30s lol. I wish I would have bought a few of em when I bought mine last fall....

Sorry man...the Taco is traded. I will see if I have an older photo somewhere.

Ended up getting an 2020 8 Cylinder F150 XLT 4WD FX4 Offroad. The kiddos are much happier with the room in the back. I looked around for a Tundra but as I mentioned earlier the inventory sucks right now.

This is my first Ford and I know the new F150 is out next year.....I'm sure I'll get a Tundra one day...maybe when it is finally updated.

    Edit:
Oh...and Ford beat Carmax by $500...so $32,500 for the trade in.

I thought of selling individually but I travel constantly and don't have the time to do that or part out all the extra offroad goodies.

Nice to know Fords hold some of their value as well.

Nice truck! I've always liked those. So much room inside too. If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay? I know they have a lot of incentives, especially since the new one is coming out.

I am definitely surprised carmax would offer on a vehicle with a CMC. I dont think they would have done that a year ago. Good for you though OP.
Just surprised, no ill intentions since you cant see my facial expressions through the internet or a face covering

I think its pretty easy to get a quote.. i wonder as well but to sell now (unless there is a good reason) wouldn't be smart in my book because everyone is going to pay up.

I understand when people need a bigger or smaller vehicle at this time i get it but to sell your vehicle because you can catch a premium and then buy close to the same sold doesn't make sense. Don't get me wrong i know OP is not doing this... just saying

OP I do hope you get a good deal on tacoma and can find something that works for your family better and hopefully at a good price as well

@Woodrow F Call im curious as well. I might just get a quote out of curiosity

I was thinking about this yesterday on here too. I like my truck just fine, but I would love a green off road with a longer bed. They aren't available yet though. With the market like it is, it'd be cool to sell mine for stupid money and do without a car until it was easy to get what I want..... With my new job, I don't drive my vehicle much anymore. The only catch is I need something to pull my ATV to the camp during deer season.

Carmax gave me an appraisal in 25 min. Pretty painless.

That's another reason I traded. I really hated pulling my 12' enclosed trailer with my Taco. I did it but it just didn't feel right.

I loved my taco, it was my 3rd. I had a 1st gen, a 2nd gen, and a 3rd gen. But at 41...I just need a grownup truck haha. I know I will miss my little modding here and there though.

Good price for a full size. Don’t worry about missing the time modding the Tacoma, with the ford you will be able to spend even more time fixing things :boink:

Does Carmax offer online appraisals or do you have to go into one of their locations?
