What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Where did you get your $485 lights? I'm kind of in the market, mostly just mulling it over.

 

My mistake. That's what I understood it to be.

 

Finally installed my Sumo Springs bumper stops today after having them sitting in the box for nearly the whole year.

I was surprised at how easy it was to remove the u-bolt nuts. I was expecting to have to use my impact wrench to get them off, however, I used my torque wrench set at 40 lbs for starters to see how much effort might be required to break them loose and found that they started easily turning without the wrench even clicking, so they seemed to be on with less than 40 lbs.

Anyway, at rest, the tops of the stops just contact the frame slightly. I took a short trip to the landfill to drop some stuff off and could feel a difference in the ride, not much, but maybe a little less bouncy than before. Maybe a little firmer, but that could just be a placebo effect to my mind. I do carry a few hundred + pounds of tools and stuff in the bed, so maybe there is truly some benefit to them.

Now, if I could just find some more time to install about 5-6 more things I have sitting around in boxes and bags..........

My bad, the factory LED headlights and Fogs for 2020 are a $485 option. Otherwise they'll run you about $1200 and $80 for an aftermarket harness.

Can anybody recommend a good FM transmitter with either RCA inputs or a 3.5 mm aux input or both even? Preferably something without Bluetooth.
I would like something I can hardwire into the truck. Been looking and can’t seem to find something that fits the bill. Trying to get my Apple TV installed in the truck so I can peer to peer airplay to it.

 

Rebuilt my bed platform. Completely modular, with multiple ways to set it up, for camping or just hauling gear. Also pretty light, for ease of removal and to cut down on weight. Just need to finish carpeting everything.

 

Nope only 2020+ and not even all of those have it

Added in the A/C drip hose. Secured it with two zip ties. I didn't think the hose would go anywhere but what the hell - zip ties are cheap insurance.
