 Sounds expensive. Another reason why I ditched before the 3/36 ran out. Diesel maintenance costs is outrageous.

Ha! As I mentioned, I have family members who work at Ford. So back in the day I used to collect newspaper articles of funny situations where parts fell off Ford cars or trucks. This was before the Internet and Google, mind you. Every holiday the family would start slamming on foreign cars (I drive a Toyota and a BMW) so I would pull out the articles and start reading them ... hilarity ensued for sure ! It became a real holiday tradition. But I had to stop when they retired and something about the mercy rule ... :)

Haha. Yea my 4 cylinder can’t turn 33’s, blow cold air and fight the extra wind resistance all at the same time. It realistically can only do one of those things at a time.

Yup. Front Locker + IFS = the average person probably wouldnt opt for it because it would be tarnished by all the examples of ill-informed users breaking it.

Easy, "engineers" design a bunch of stuff they have never tried to work on. I see it all the time.

You do also have packaging requirements that make assembly easier from a building cars standpoint, sometimes it's makes maintenance harder.

    this and that...
@awesomeandy013: i dunno all the logistics behind all their collabs, so i like when someone can do storytime! about hino, couldnt they just make an engine that would pair with the taco? similar to how cummins did for the titan? not the greatest similarity i know since that collab went down like a quick dumpster fire, but just looking at a basic framework pov, which was cummins making a motor exclusive to the titan.

Right now debating between K02s or Toyo AT3s...Im going up to 34"s...just went nuts on some upgrades and am getting the full Icon stage 10 set up (amongst other things), but the coil overs and some other parts are 4-6 weeks out from Icon because of the apocalypse so I've got a little more time to decide on exactly which ones.

oh damn another Roseville inhabitant like myself. Yes, burping here without a mask on May as well = shitting on the street.

also agreed on DEF systems. I manage a company that regularly uses Hino 258 diesel box trucks - 275k on both of our trucks and the only issue has been faulty DEF sensors shutting the beast of a motor down when it decides not to work.

for those not savvy with Hino - it’s Toyota’s overseas commercial truck made at the Hino plant in Japan. We beat the living shit out of them and they keep banging along like champs
