If I remember correctly, those are the CO's from leeper that they finished after donahoe racing was purchased by icon. The rebuild probably costs so much because icon doesn't valve them the same as donahoe did.

Can the OP confirm these are the correct CO's? I'm rather curious how the seller managed to mess them up so fast if they are the same.

FWIW, from the pics the op posted of the inside of the shocks they needed more than a "rebuild" the pistons and shafts looked like they were shot. that $200 rebuild turned into $200 plus pistons shafts etc. the only thing that looked salvageable were the bodies

but, the springs and shock bodies are worth $120.

Out of principles, the op didnt get what he expected and bugs life said they were fine, just needed rebuild, while in other threads he talked about his shocks clanking and bottoming out hard over little bumps The B/S/T thread was inaccurate because it did not include this info...

Bug's life agree to pay for half so he should stop avoiding it and man up...

new shafts for my 16" saw rebuilds cost me $75 each, I doubt new shafts for OP's shock will cost that much

OP, why dont you call Sonny at Downsouth or something and get a quote for the rebuild

Ok 15 minutes later im done with the 8 pages. the item was used, but bugshit said he would pay half. not sure where all you guys are defending bugshit and what he did. he should ask mommy or daddy for money to pay his debt. if he cant afford $60 then why is he modding his truck? spending gas? insurance? tw should ban his sorry ass on principles alone. frank, hope you get your money back and dont worry, karma is a bitch and the kid will probably end up like that other bro kid with 2 fuxored tacos. not wishing anything bad on him, but ya never know what karma has in store for him.
