Ahhh I’m now reminiscing about when I had my whole front windshield tinted with 5%. It was before my island had bike cops. Now it’s no bueno and all legal.

The tint on cars in the Philippines is so high, they actually cut circles out of the tint so you can see the side mirrors.

The idea is cool, but why are Hawaiian trucks always so gherish. They always look like someone just went super market sweep on the cheap chrome shit aisle in the auto parts store and then went over to the wheel store and asked for the smallest tires on the biggest chrome wheels with the most offset. Like damn Hawaii, I get it, it's not like you can drive anywhere anyway, but did you have to completely make the truck unusable.

I get what your saying. It would serve to mention that guy has a giant turbo feeding into a supercharger haha. I’d like to point out myself included Hawaii people have a hard obsession with weld wheels. It’s fun to run them from time to time. In high school I had a set of 15x18 reals. Would I take it off road ? Absolutely not. I had some skinny 33s to go on trails.

moral of the story, Hawaii seems to do things like this. Doesn’t mean we don’t get the impracticality. I do for sure. It’s more of a look than it is function.

The chrome doors and mirrors are not cheap and last I checked clear tails are around 350 for a set.

the guy who leant it to me said this in explicit detail. I not only held my breathe I wore my respirator with p100 2097 filters. It’s currently in my driveway with the windows down airing out. Gonna let it air out 3 more hours then I’m gonna put in its stall.

I spent the better half of the afternoon cleaning the inside of the truck. I took the seats out and all my stuff and vacuumed the hell out of it and got it clean as a whistle and barren before the ozone treatment. Did 30 mins with ac recirc, then an hour and a half truck off

Dang. I've been burned on craigslist/facebook deals before. But never on something worth over $500. I thought a 1.5 hour drive and being told "never mind just sold it" was bad.

I remember the first time I put on on the lift to service it. The rear wheels drooped down like a VW. It did ride well for a relatively small car at the time.

Figured out how to mount the rear bumper without killing myself. Use an engine hoist to lower it into place.

so I've got this weird thing about easy to clean interiors.. going to order the vinyl floor kit and eventually get aftermarket vinyl seats... im even crazy enough and am going to pull the door card and either replace the fabric with vinyl or (more likely) make my own door card with a sheet of aluminum covered in tan vinyl.

So here's my question. Is there an easy way to do a vinyl headliner? I've seen one 96 taco in a junkyard with a gray blue vinyl headliner but I can't for the life of me find a tan one for my 98... how hard would it be to make my own headliner? I've never torn one out of these trucks so I don't know how involved it is

Pretty sure it’s 95-97 you don’t wanna mess with, I don’t think it’s very hard to get out of the other years, but I’ve only torn down the back part
