The answer I was looking for was about clearing values. He made it a point that he hasn't ran any of mine. Perhaps I'm just overly sensitive this morning:rofl:

I've been trying to fine-tune some shift points and resetting the values just seems to be extreme. I'm glad that you agree on not doing this because I think I can really save some time with the whole relearn process. Otherwise it seems to take a half an hour and 10 plus miles of driving just to get the truck back to where it was before the tweaks

Maybe I'm reading it differently and i may be wrong but I read it as he does run your files and doesn't clear values when running them or while making other small changes of his own

That’s how I read it as well. I don’t believe that any slight was intended..........

Is there a way to select a bunch of sells and paste a value? Currently if I copy a value select a range of cells and hit paste it only will paste to the first cell selected. @OVTune?

Are you right clicking and using that copy, then paste? That works for me.

Edit: my CTRL+C or P did not in the current software

Yes, that works with a single cell at a time. I want to copy the value from one cell then paste to multiple selected cells. That doesn't work for me.

Oh, so a single cell value into MANY, hmmm, not sure on that one other then possibly pasting into excel, edit, and then back. I can try it later today if no one else has a suggestion.

EDIT: only way I could do this for now was copy/paste the range I want to edit into Excel and then mod there with pasting a single value into multiple cells/ranges. Then copy it all back and paste into VFTuner. @jstemp

I've been dealing with this for years. Some tunes have it, some of the older ones didn't. This little dip is especially a PITA when towing my camper. I get up to the speed I want, shifts into 4th, the "dip" happens, I lose momentum, then the cycle starts over.
I remember in 16' when I bought both the truck and camper I went to Colorado and this dip was driving me nuts all the way out and back (from Cincinnati).
Then after buying OVTune (1.04 at the time) the dip was gone and life was glorious. Then at some point it came back.
I hope someone figures this out.

You talking to me? I think you're talking to me? :D

I am not 100% sure yet, but it just seems to scoot long better.

A better way of thinking about it is removing the artificial limit.

I have run your files, and am running your latest file on the premium, stock tire size tune with my AGM settings. Didn't mean for it to come off as saying I'm not running yours! Like inksin said, I haven't been clearing values since I have been trying new tunes so often, and it would be harder to see any difference until everything settles.

I'm not adding any value here, but i'd love to get rid of the rev hang. When i pull the truck really hard, the revs build slow, and when i got to throw it in the next gear (MT), the revs hang for what seems like foreverrrrrrrr. I look forward to getting this thing to rev up and down faster/more efficient.
I'm also watching this linear throttle adjustment with eagerness.

I never clear learning values when making incremental changes. Assumption being my existing values are closer to where I’ll want to be on the new tune than the default values.

@OVTune dropped an 04B14 Rev Hang test tune a while back. Have you tried it?

I am also not clearing with my edits, but like any flash I really do believe the settling in is occurring and that as I put more miles on some of these tune edits my truck is improving all around. Perhaps @OVTune or @Rafael@OVTune can confirm what tables we touch are affected by learning -- something tells me that most are a factor with our foot and perceptions being major factors.

Never thought of coping the data into excel. Tried it and it works great, Thanks!

I'm too cheap to pay for excel. This also works to copy into Google docs spreadsheets, and then you can paste back into vF Tuner.

I've never cleared values ever. OTOH, I've only flashed/reflashed a total of maybe 4 or 5 times since September 2017.
