Saw this bastard roaming around Douglas a few weeks ago. Our motion camera captured him, but missed the a-hole as he wrecked my bird feeder.

Bluetooth air horn next to bird feeder.
I don't know if it will do anything but it would be fun to try.
I can see many opportunities this would be good for...

I'm avoiding bird feeders as I'm sure there are bears around. I had constant problems with raccoons when I lived down south, they messed with me yet here. Afraid to put a trap out as I think there is a skunk around too.

Maybe I'll get a game camera or two.

It's funny when people don't realize that turkeys do this...We have a herd of them that sits in the giant pines behind our house sometimes and they make racket settling in for the night...Loud flappers...

This is hilarious because I was in P-town this weekend on a scheduled family vacation and I was lobbying for Race Point and lost out to some other beaches..mostly because of the Great White spotted 20 feet from the shore last week...That whale you saw may have been a fin back whale. The whale watch I went on Monday said there were some random fin backs in and around close to shore. We saw one just as we rounded Long point/ wood end leaving the harbor.

Man, you're really milking it, I figured you'd had it stacked up by the end of the weekend.

An hour here and there when I have it, and I'm not sore the next day, versus knock it all out as quickly as possible and ache for days.

    THIS!!!
I've been having at it with 12 cords since beginning of May.
I only have 2 cords left to deal with.
    1 or 2 a day goes a long way.

No, I get it, just giving you a hard time. I have oil heat but would kill for a wood burning fire place. We had them growing up and I’d gladly put up with splitting and stacking wood to have one in my own house.

I did my pellets a bag at a time this year. Still all in one day, but last year I was lugging 2 bags downstairs with every trip. That is much more exhausting and not worth it over just making more trips.

Couple years ago, my bulkhead door was screwed up, so I had to carry pellets, from my driveway thru the kitchen, dining room, down the basement stairs and across the basement. Because it was such a long travel, I did 2 bags at once. Nope, never again, kicked my ass. This year, trailer about 3 steps away from the bulkhead, 4 steps down, two steps to the pile, I could have done a second pallet right then.

I feel that! My back is still mad at me for lugging the 300lb sheet of steel around the garage. I couldn't tell I was aggravating it because the :rasta: masked the pain... Last time I take unsuspecting chocolate from the little old lady across the street while I have things to accomplish in the garage...
I've got a few steel oil barrels behind my shop. Wife permitting, a true American classic "hobo-style" fireplace will bring your living space together with warmth and charm that only fingerless gloves, a can of baked beans, and a trash barrel fire could provide!

 I thought that was a joke when you first said that. That's awesome.

There's some fancy dancy "overland brand" "fire rings" which are basically oil drums, cut in half, with some holes drilled in them.

    400$.

I cut a piece of plywood the length of my bulkhead stairs and just use that as a slide. Someone up top just sliding down the bags and someone downstairs stacking. We got through three tons in about 3 hours this way. It sucks for sure, but anything to avoid the constant trips up and down the stairs.

Man I can relate to stacking wood. I had an AGONIZING time loading my heat for the year. Was on the phone for like 45 seconds scheduling a delivery with the oil company. Brutal work.

$400 each?! Damn bro, I need a new side gig!

And no, I wasn't joking man! You should've seen how long it took me to draw a straight line down a 97" sheet of steel... I needed it to be 49 1/8"... As you can see, there were quite a few revisions  :goingcrazy:
I started drawing it at 50 1/8"

Well, what we say in the construction biz... measure twice, cut once. Only it's usually measure 5 times because my guys are either drunk, stoned, hungover or all 3.
