    Ok so don't know if someone has said this but the xterra and frontier have a few advantages over the tacoma more than was listed one being a flat belly all the drivetrain is up above the bottom of the frame very advantageous for offroading. The front diff and axle assemblies are bigger and stronger they share them with the Titan. But I agree nissan has been on it's way down for a long time now. I barely even see a mitsubishi anymore what happened to the early 90s craze of the Evo finally being here and then dying off the old VR-4 galants, 3000GT and DSM cars. It's sad really to see some of these car manufacturers make such mistakes it sinks horribly.

    Most reliable, trouble-free vehicle I’ve ever owned was an 87 Mitsubishi SPX.

    87 was the first year of a new design (at least the interior and exterior) pickup.
    The SPX was the 4x4.

    I think the late model eclipses were way too big. They were underpowered and looked too curvy, like a woman's hips, but at 9 months pregnant
