There was a fellow on TW that was making a mole board for the rear wall of the Taco. He announced that he is no longer going to make them. There were many of us who indicated that we would like to see him continue; he declined.

Ada, but I drive down to Thackerville (OK/Texas border on I-35) on occasion during the week for work. Shoot me a PM and we can work out a place/time to meet up for you to get measurements and/or make a template.

 

handles have to be removed for mounting. there are slots to allow for braiding paracord handles, i currently do not have an option to mount factory handles after install, competitor has kit to allow re-mount of stock handles. not build to order. i have stock being produced now that will take 2-3 weeks for completion. If i built these per order, the cost would be crazy high.

 

Are the molle racks made out off aluminum??

 

10ga steel, sand blasted and powder coated. total weight is only 9lbs. aluminum would cause the price to increase by 20-25% as aluminum prices keep going up.

 

Ill pay the 20-25% for aluminum, more durable and no rust down the road!

 

Thanks, currently to keep costs down, i make about 20 parts at a time and use carbon steel, they are also very strong. Im not at a point in my business to have that option for aluminum but maybe sometime in the future i can change over to that. having extra corrosion protection from aluminum and being lighter weight would benefit a lot. thanks.
