Is the dual ARB air compressor worth it or would I be okay with the single?

@jlemmond I'm picking up this 2020 Hobie Outback on Saturday in Knoxville! Paying $2500 for the Yak, two wheel trailer thing, H Bar, Garmin Strike 4 Fishfinder, couple rod holders and random small accessories. You suggest strapping to Prinsu and tying down the bow or should I go get a bed extender? 3 1/2 hour drive.

Roof is probably better than in the bed with an extender.

That's been my thinking too, plus dont have to buy anything extra. Think some pool noodles and some hard insulation board would be in order to protect the Yak?

Id argue and say go bed extender. Those Hobies arent light. Less damage to you and the boat that way.

Let me ad this, I will not be transporting it very often, but when I do, I will likely need the bedspace for gear. Like if I go to the beach for example. So if the roof is a viable option, I may go that route. Its not really a problem for me to lifting 80-90 pounds over head if thats what needs to be done.

Put it in the bed and tie it down good. Should be OK for transport back home.

you’ll kill your gas mileage with it up top.

Without a bed extender? Not sure letting it hang 7' out the back unsupported is a good idea.

Why would I buy a trailer for hundreds of dollars over a $60 bed extender?

(I do have a little trailer but even that is only 8')
