What part doesn’t fit? The tube or the air box? Does Maggy supply a tube?

The tube does not fit, it’s too long. I was able to squeeze the air box in though. A tube is provided in the kit.

Kinda figured that would happen as the throttle body is moved right? Thanks for the quick reply snap a pic if you can!

Looks great! Thanks for the heads up on how long it will take too. I installed my Tundra SC in one day but looking at the other install videos this has a few extra steps in the engine bay, but thankfully we don't need to drop the fuel tank!

just (im)patiently waiting for my shipping notice from Magnuson

Is there any reason that you wouldn’t be able to run the JLT oil separator on this setup? It looks like you lose their intended mounting location.

URD Supercharger kit on my 3rd gen :bananadance: It's been on my rig for about a month now.

I'm curious to get pre- and post- install dyno numbers from people who used the different supercharger kits. I got 219 hp to the wheels (278 hp to the crank) before the install, I will be doing a post install dyno soon. Once you notice the power gain after the install, you'll love it. I have an ICON Stage 4, 33in ko2s, roof rack, bed rack, tonneau cover, variety of lights(pods, bars), triple subwoofer box, 2 bed mounted tool boxes loaded with tools, and a variety of other accessories so my truck is a bit heavier than stock but the power gain from the supercharger is most definitely noticeable and very much appreciated.

Feel free to inquire about or share information regarding the kits!

It installs on the right side and there's mounting holes, you could put it in a few places.

Whats with running the separator? I'm very familiar with their use on diesels but have you had a problem with moisture build up?

I live in a dry area so maybe its a humidity issue.

Do you happen to have a winch bumper by any chance? I'm just trying to plan ahead for what might be involved in extending the coolant lines as Tacomabeast mentioned in his install video

I'm not 100% certain, but on TW you end up buying a lot of things that you don't necessarily need.

If you off-road and ever had your Tacoma at a steep incline for about 1 min or so, you'll notice a lot of smoke coming out of your tail pipe. It's very common with this 3rd gen. The "catch can" aka "separator" should relieve that problem

would the TRD intake fit if you swapped in the HPS intake tube and removed the factory one? I assume it uses the factory airbox.

Wonder why this has been so tight lipped for a while. Maybe start a new thread to talk about this?

that makes sense. Even in the 2nd gen intake there was a shorter version and longer (how its connected and some just cut the tube shorter). Not sure if the tube is bigger or not. Likely is not a big issue. The air box is the same (lower half).

Click on the link and read the desription. This kit is modular and compatible with winch bumpers. I have a Blue Sea fuze box and relays mounted to the right of the engine bay, which is the regular location for mounting some of the supercharger kit components. It was very simple to install those components of the left side of my engine bay since I had a lot of extra room there.

If you have questions about the kit, you can send an email or call the URD Tech Support (found on the website) and they will respond quickly. This is a very modular kit and I'm sure it'll put up a great competition for the Magnuson kit.
