My coworker's friend bought a plasma cutter and table, and just started doing cuts for people. Made some decent money. Built a feed table/system, and now he's apparently scored a contract for cutting out birds or something that go on lamp posts, making like 100k/year passively since, with the feed table and high run volume stuff it's set it and forget it for a while. Etc.

I am definitely in the wrong line of work.

Reality: I have FHW radiators off natural gas lines. I didn't even have to call anyone for the winter :D

This is remnants from storm felled trees I get for free, fire is more for show than heat (unless I set up a mini wood stove in the fireplace).

Yeah, that was such a poor choice  I'm glad I held off from cutting that side. That'll be my Saturday afternoon project!
That's badass! Lots of money up front, but that hardware pays for itself quickly if you keep it running!

<10k up front, feed table not sure about probably more though. I think. If I had the space I'd consider it. Would need to convert my garage. We'll see, once I buy the next house - here, or Texas, TBD :D

    Also. Goddammit RI.

This makes camping this weekend difficult, >10/100k has been a cutoff point, not sure if NH is using that or not, will have to check it out.:rant:

Looked it up, NH doesn't give a rip if you're coming from a new england state one way or another (as of now). But if you're coming from outside of new england you have to sign a document that you QT for 14 days before coming to the state. So we all good.

I'm taking the NH filth to RI. Moving south of that rain/snow line was like moving to a whole different country, I'm only 90 minutes from home!

I can't get enough of the snow, so I love it up here.

This whole virus thing is BS, personally. I know it is real and is killing people. The guidelines are so contradictory and seemingly pointless.

I couldn't get a truck and trailer behind my house because I'd be parking on top of the septic tank. So I load up 15 bags at a time on my little trailer for the ATV and drive them around back. I'm more comfortable driving over that with 1200 lbs between the ATV and pellets than 14,000 lbs with a truck, trailer, and pellets.

I tried this last year and stopped because the bags the pellets were in were super thin and I'd get tears on about 1/3 of them once they slid onto the concrete. These Vermont Pellet bags seemed better, though, so I probably could have done it.

I helped a friend lug 3 tons into his basement in mid-winter last year. I was feeling exhausted about half way through but kept going. By the end I was on the brink of dropping, something was definitely wrong. I felt off most of last winter, so I chalked it up to that but I still wasn't looking forward to this year. I got through them pretty quickly and easily though and my back didn't even bother me the next day.

sorry about that, I get confused what threads I’m in, and just go with the flow.
@ME OFF Rd, yes we should set something up and at-least get started.
