Prinsu vs Victory 4x4

Prinsu makes a fine rack. I doubt you will be disappointed in either.

 

Anyone have some photos of the Victory rack WITHOUT lightbar cutout?

 

Have you driven with the cutout version with no light installed? I'm considering doing that exact thing because I like the option of adding a light, but really have no need for one at the moment. My concern is that it'd be much noisier with the front light cavity unoccupied.

 

thought it came with a filler plate? You can always take it out later. Unless I'm thinking of a different rack or maybe I'm thinking of a bumper.

 

I was fairly sure that the front plate is either a cutout version or non-cutout version (with no provisions for a filler plate), but now I'm less certain...

 

yes I have and there is not much noise difference from the full fairing. There's acutally more noise once the light bar was installed but I'm used to it now. I could hear my engine more that the wind noise from the rack.

 

there are 2 different fairings. cutout and non cutout. I would purchase the cutout version if you plan on adding a light bar in the future. I paid $100 for the cutout version after I already got the noncutout fairing and decided I wanted to run a light bar.

 

Just installed my Victory rack. I love the way it looks ordered mine 2.5 weeks ago so the lead times are pretty quick. Definitely faster then what Victory quoted.

I installed a 1 foot wide section of gloss black vinyl wrap under the front. I hated the way the black rack looked on coloured roof with the black weather stripping down the sides. This just blends everything together better I think. Super excited to put it to good use now. I still need to trim the flaring a bit to push my light bar up further. I’m getting a lot of wind noise on the highway

 

I did the same thing. Vinyl wrap back to first bracket.

 

Victory rack owner here..... Anyone with one bought an awning? If so how did you mount it? Or anyone have any recommendations for a good awning?? Thanks guys!

 

get the victory mounts. ARB makes a good awning, a lot of the cheaper ones you see are all made in the same factory in China, they just have different logos or awning colors.
