you got time? Most definitely can be a great project to learn. As long as you have the time to learn, and not rush.

I don’t mind the clean-up work, I’m scared that my bumper will fall apart from my shit welds haha.

    All of them.
Youtube shows what to look for and proper technique. There is a lot of welding to be done so by the time you're done you will understand it pretty well.

The only thing I'd worry about for a first time project is welding the winch plate in place. You need to make sure you get some good burn-in on that, otherwise, there isn't much at risk with a bumper for a first time welding project.

Well the tow hooks are also a little concerning if I don’t burn them on correctly. The only thing being recovered will be the pieces that flew off the bumper haha.

well I’m pretty motivated, I might give this a shot.

Honestly I think your overthinking it a bit, welding isn't that difficult to get a solid weld.

Having a solid weld that looks like a robot did it however... That takes skill.

Welding thin material is also far more difficult.

This is thick stuff, it's really hard to mess up.

They’ve said no previously, maybe that’s changed but at the price point they’re at I doubt they want much (any) variation in production.

Will these be back in stock anytime soon? Or did you only do a limited run of them? My wife got me a welder for Christmas and I have been looking for some projects to work on.

265/75R16 Wildpeak AT3W, Softopper, Kicker speakers, shift knob, Ventvisors, Tint, Husky Weatherbeaters, Hondo Garage radio knobs. The to do list: Bilstein 6112/5160, 3 leaf add-a-leafs, lights, alu skid, PRP seat covers...
Would anyone be able to give me some of the dimensions with the hoop? Wanting to order when they come back in stock but trying to see what size pods I could run under the hoop.

    Width at the base?
    Width at the top?
Height between the bumper and the bottom on the hoop?

    Thanks

@SouthernStyleOffRoad any chance someone ordering could get the higher bar from the 4runner kit thrown in the Taco kit for a fee?
